Gołynia is one of the scenically located housing estates in the valley of the River Skawica. Inhabitants of this area have always cultivated old traditions and customs, which is clearly visible along the trail. In the lower part of Zawoja there are many signs of Babia Góra architecture: the tower bell, highlanders' houses, cellars, and wayside shrines.
