The center of Zawoja is situated on the site of Jastrzębia (Hawk) Niżna Glade. It used to be a glade where you could see grazing sheep and cattle. At present it is a trade centre with the Commune Office. You can also find here precious historical sites, shrines and gardens of remembrance.
